San Antonio de Areco

It is located very close from Buenos Aires city, about 150 kms up north.  Nowadays it is a town which is getting nicer because of the landscapes, the traditions and the gastronomy.  It is worth it to have an aromatic coffee at the corner of Merti and visit the church.  Another thing to do is to walk trough the narrows street and observe the colonial arquitecture of the little houses.
Also you can visit the “Gauchesco Ricardo Guiraldes Museum”, the Old Bridge, the Principal Square and San Antonio Church.
There is a well known famous farm house called CINACINA.  It is a beautiful place where you can have lunch, enjoy riding horses and taste a bit  how to be a GAUCHO for one day.
If you have the chance to visit Buenos Aires in november, try not to  miss the tradition fest of San Antonio de Areco.  It's a very popular fest of the town, where parades and dances are shown.
